Islamov Gafur Khakimovich -  Head of the Education Quality Control Department

The Education Quality Control Department is an integral part of the university and was established to ensure the training of highly qualified specialists for the agricultural industry. The department monitors and evaluates the activities of students, teachers, departments and faculties, as well as regulates their work.

The Education Quality Control team conducts expert analysis of syllabuses, short courses, lesson plans and other educational materials. They also oversee the quality of lectures, practical and laboratory classes, and independent work under teacher guidance. The team assesses the level of professional knowledge and makes recommendations to the administration on how to improve the learning process.

Another task of the Department of Education Quality Control is to organize, analyze, and determine ways to improve the quality of training for competitive, highly qualified specialists. Education quality management is carried out through monitoring the quality system for training specialists, monitoring teacher performance from the student's perspective, rating university teaching staff, and identifying areas that need improvement.

Monitoring education quality as a continuous process of collecting, processing, storing, and disseminating information about education and its various components aims to enhance the educational management process. This information is used to assess the current state of education at the university and plan for its future development.

The university's teaching staff are recommended and selected for positions as assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, and professor based on an analysis and assessment of the quality of their lectures and practical exercises, conducted by the education quality control department.

The Department of Education Quality Management was established by the order of the Rector of the University (№3a, dated January 14, 2017) and since 2026 has been transformed into the Department of Education Quality Control by the decision of the Academic Council of the University №11 dated April 30, 2026. Its activities are based on the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Education", regulatory legal acts of the Agency for Supervision in the field of Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Statute of the State Educational Institution "Tajik Agricultural University named after Sh. Shokhtemur" and Regulations approved by the Academic Council of the university.

The position of the Head of the Department of Education Quality Management, which is now the Department, was held by various individuals over the years. Jabborov T.J., a Candidate of Agricultural Sciences and Associate Professor, held this position from 2017 to 2019. Haydarov Z.Yo., also a Candidate of Agricultural Sciences and an Associate Professor, served in this position from 2019 to 2022. Since 2022, the position has been occupied by Islomov Gafur Khakimovich, a Candidate of Economic Sciences and Associate Professor.
